The first annual Jackson Hole Birding Festival is a three-day community celebration of the remarkable diversity of bird life in and around beautiful, wild Jackson, Wyoming.

Yellowstonian is a special project of a non-profit devoted to celebrating wildlife, wonders of the natural world and human cultural connections in Greater Yellowstone and beyond, founded by internationally recognized conservation journalist Todd Wilkinson, who has made the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem a special focus. Author of several award-winning books on topics ranging from Jackson Hole Grizzly 399 to the conservation legacy of Ted Turner and famous artists, like Tom Mangelsen and George Carlson, he recently co-founded a new entity, Yellowstoninan.org that soon will have a website. in 2016, he contributed to a special edition of National Geographic magazine that featured Yellowstone. For six years, he served as co-founder and lead editor/writer of MountainJournal that attracted millions of story reads from people around the world. In addition to being an alum of the City News Bureau of Chicago, a legendary training ground for young journalists where he wrote about violent crime, he is equally proud to say his love affair with Yellowstone began in college when he spent two summers working as a cook at Canyon Village.
